Command Performance is a cardinal red peony with a 9" bloom. It carries strong stems up to 35" tall and is fairly new to market, being bred by Hollingsworth in 1996. This peony is very popular among cut flower growers as the vase life lasts up to two weeks!

these roots: these are 5/8 eye roots! We encourage you to plant these roots in the Fall when your ground is workable and barely cover the eyes (an inch of soil above the eye is good). If the ship date is after your ground freezes, they can be planted in large pots for the first year and planted next fall after foliage has died back. The bigger the pot, the better.
